YoungSGL – Municipality Elections: Interactive Political Event
The municipal elections are fast approaching, and as a student (living) in Leeuwarden, this means you can also cast your vote! But voting is not always easy. What exactly does each party stand for? What are their main priorities for the coming years? And above all: what does that mean for you as a student?
Are you still undecided or do you have no idea who you want to vote for? Then come to the YoungSGL: municipal elections event on March 4! During this interactive evening, you will have the opportunity to listen to representatives of the five largest parties in Leeuwarden, hear their views, and ask questions yourself. This will give you a clear picture of the different visions and enable you to make a more informed choice when voting.
The event will take place on Wednesday, March 4, from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at De Beurs (Wirdumerdijk 34, Leeuwarden).
Admission is free, but registration is required.
The event will be held entirely in English, so that it is also accessible to international students in Leeuwarden.
