Will you be the fastest student in Leeuwarden?

LOOP Leeuwarden is Fryslân's premier running and walking event! The 19th edition will take place on Sunday, May 10, 2026. The routes run through the charming city of Leeuwarden and its surroundings. 

We have a special deal exclusively for 500 students: you can register for the 10KM for only €10! (normally €30). That's a €20 discount! You'll receive a free running T-shirt, you'll run in our own student wave (a separate starting area filled with only students), and there are prizes to be won for the fastest students.

Would you like to run a different distance?
As a student, you can of course run a different distance. In that case, you will receive a 10% discount on your ticket through us. The discount will be automatically applied in the webshop, so you will immediately see the correct price.

Running

5KM = €21 → €18.90
10KM = €30 → €10
21KM = €35 → €31.50

Walking

6KM = €15 → €13.50
12KM = €20 → €18.00
18KM = €25 → €22.50

Please note: Each student may purchase a maximum of one ticket, and you must use your own email address from your educational institution when purchasing your ticket. The name you enter when ordering must match the name linked to the email address of your educational institution.

Orders placed using a private email address or multiple tickets ordered using the same email address will be declared invalid and deleted. So make sure you register with a valid email address from your educational institution and order only one ticket per student.

Registration for name on race number and medal closes on April 21 at 11:59 p.m.
Registration without a medal and without a name on the race number closes on May 7 at 11:59 p.m.
